Sara Jean Odam is a painter interested in performance and transformation. Born in 1980 in Chicago, Illinois, she is a midwesterner at heart, and spent 20 formative years studying and working as a painter on the east coast, primarily in Brooklyn, before landing in Vegas in 2020. She holds a BFA in Painting from Boston University. Her work has been exhibited in Boston, MA including at The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Brooklyn, NY and Las Vegas, NV. Her work has also been commissioned for television, Broadway and circus productions including Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical, Fish in the Dark, and Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter on Adult Swim, and for several productions for Spiegelworld Production Co. including “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace, and Superfrico at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
